Xiao Fang Zhou

Xiao Fang Zhou assists in business development for American companies in China, and for Chinese companies in America. Beginning with in-depth translation services, she provides research, personal representation, technical support, business plan and web development,  import/export services, student exchange and diplomatic delegation management, and translation of legal documents.

Xiao Fang Zhou is a seasoned translator and manager with full English and Mandarin skills. She was born and educated in Beijing; she worked and lived in the capital for the first half of her life, and has travelled extensively throughout China and around Asia. She has lived in the United States (State of Hawaii) since the mid-1990’s, with frequent visits back to Beijing.

Xiao Fang served in the first Joint Venture hotel in China in the mid-1980’s, helping to open up Beijing and all of China to visitors from every country in the world. She is assisted by her business associate, Michael North, in editing and proofing English translations, especially in technical, legal and financial fields.

  1. Xiao, I am writng about what may be our shared family history in China. My family has always believed that my grandmother Chow Yun Kyau, daughter of Chow Kwai Fook, is a cousin of Zhou En Lai. We know that Chow Kwai Fook (born abt 1849 in Guangdong) had two younger brothers; one is Chow Deng who was in Canton in the 1920s. We know little more about the family in China. We have learned that Zhou En Lai’s grandfather Zhou Pan Long was born in 1850 and as far as we know he only had one brother Jun’ang. We would like to know if there were other brothers. Do you know of a resource for more information about the family, especially about the children of Zhou Pan Long and Zhou Jun’ang ? Do you know if any of your family lived in Trinidad in the mid-1800s ? Finding the story of our family is both challenging and rewarding. We appreciate any information you could add.
